Take yourself away to another world, culture and generation and then realise its entirely yours too. Maybe none of us are no longer here? If so, perhaps you wont mind if I have the last hobnob? 4/5
It’s reassuring to know that despite hell on earth there still exists angels that refuse to be be broken. The most depressing movie I have ever seen. Yet, hope springs eternal and for fucks sake will, one day ,perhaps, overcome these pricks who continue to rage. 5/5
You can compare this to a hundred other war films and inevitably Lord of the Flies but please don't. Brilliant in its very own skin. Scratches all the right itches in all the right places and leaves your spine well and truly tingled. Left me wanting more. Bravo. 4.5/5
Not seen any Senegalese romantic sci-fi thrillers before. Not smitten but sufficiently attracted to see it through to the end. Didn't manage to float my boat I'm afraid. 2/5
a phenomenal movie. Don’t worry with a trailer or reading any reviews just jump straight in , head first - BANG! You wont regret it. Take my word for it and my word, indeed, is all you need. 5/5
- would have been the best ending of a film bar none if it had finished 5 minutes before it did. Beyond the titilation this flick offers , its actually a great movie well worth a pop. 3/5
- couldn’t see what all the fuss was about to be honest. Cinematography yadda yadda yadda but bored me senseless. It’s me not you, honestly I’m sorry. 1/5
- bleak, hurtful, painful at times and on the whole it doesn’t get too cheerful. Could say a Russian Mike Leigh you could also say Black Russian if you like. Enticing nonetheless. 3/5
- Those Argentinians can’t half make some good movies. This one is up there with all the ones I’ve ever seen. I have seen two. Watch it amigo it won’t disappoint. 4/5
- My biggest concern throughout was the potential collapse of a building. Didn’t deter me from enjoying a thrilling ride of this Iranian gem. Enjoy. 4/5
