“to think all these men die” was not a helpful bit of banter by the person sitting next to me as this film began. But alas you probably know the story already. No happy endings here. Not even Colin Firth could raise this one from the depths. 2/5
Fly on the wall worts and all drama about a couple dealing with breast cancer. Straight down the line pulling no punches. Feels like you're peering into your aunty and uncles life for a couple of hours - its so intimate a portrayal. Not my cup of tea. 2/5
Sometimes it just rides above your head and doesn't really land. This one floated away like a lost kite and never managed to capture my eagerness to catch it. 2/5
Like a village in Midsummer me thinks there is one too many murders and one which is rather egregious in my humblest of opinions. Despite this it's really rather decent and worth a pop on a Sunday night. 3/5
